Cosmos ALL | My Cosmos Series, 2020

This is an original acrylics – painting titled “Cosmos ALL” as part of “My Cosmos” Series.

“My Cosmos” series started during a period of deep self-discovery. I had just finished my 8-week mindfulness program in therapy and I then started to feel truly connected to my inner self. I soon realized that is true what Neil deGrasse Tyson beautifully says ‘We are stardust’ bought to life by the universe so that the universe can figure itself out – We are indeed made of stardust!

I see art as my therapy; I feel thus I create. I paint feelings, memories, dreams, or nightmares, I design imaginary places and I let lines and shapes create new worlds on paper. I am also a writer and a poet and I find “words” even on a blank piece of watercolor paper. I work mostly with acrylics and pen, but also watercolors, pencil, charcoal, oil pastel, markers. For the creation of every artwork I use almost anything that I find interesting; from brushes to threads and bubble wrap, stones, and leaves…

I am very attached to my artworks. Each one has a unique name and a history behind it. And that’s my little surprise for you…
